Our Team
Bill got his start in the construction industry over 30 years ago in Wisconsin. He attended The University of Wisconsin- Whitewater, and then began working at Thomson Corporation. In 1975, Bill moved to Arizona where he worked at Nu-West. After gaining plenty of first-hand experience and knowledge, he and his wife Mary decided to start their own company. In 1991 ZDI was born. Bill is still ZDI’s managing member and the driving force in finding new developments. He remains actively involved in every project ZDI takes on. Although those who know him would agree that he spends too much time at the office, Bill enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time with his family. |
Mary earned her degree in accounting from Arizona State University and began working in the industry at Nu-West. She spent time at Nu-West and Mark VII before co-founding ZDI in 1991. Whereas Bill can usually be found meeting with clients or out checking on a job, Mary works behind the scenes to ensure that no detail slips through the cracks.
Mary’s business acumen has also led to her consulting for non-profits around the valley. She is currently on the board at Phoenix Rescue Mission, and also participates in various charity golf events. She loves traveling, cooking, golfing, and gardening, and looks forward to spending time with her family each summer in Coronado, CA. |
Prior to joining our team in 2008, Jeff worked for many years as a building engineer for GPE. He has over 25 years of experience in the field. His diligence and people skills make him the perfect liason between general contractors, sub, tenants, and landlords in property management and construction management.
Jeff loves spending time with his wife and four kids, visiting his parents in Colorado, as well as fishing, hunting, and camping throughout Arizona. |
Melissa works as our office supervisor at ZDI LLC and ZDI Realty Advisors. She has many years of experience overseeing office operations, as well as managing employees. Her ability to identify and research problems as they arise, and streamline work processes has been an invaluable asset to our company. Her organizational skills and training in customer service ensure our communication with clients is timely and effective.
